If you are planning a trip to Croatia in 2023, this is important information for you.

On the 1st of January, 2023, Croatia became the 27th country in the Schengen area.
That means that:

from the 26th of March, for those traveling by plane, internal air borders will be lifted.
the official currency of Croatia will now be the euro.
Croatia's entry into the Schengen area and the introduction of the euro as the official currency are two things that represent significant and good changes for Croatian tourism.
