Double L House

Due to personal circumstances, we were unable to check in on the first day (the rent was already paid in full) and arrived only on the night of the second day, having informed the staff. They explained that we could check in at any time and day, even late. So, 15 minutes after we called to check in, a staff member delivered the keys to the apartment and completed the check-in process (taking a 150-euro deposit, which was fully refunded upon check-out). Everyone we interacted with spoke excellent English. The room was tidy, with clean bedding, plenty of cutlery, pots, glasses, and plates, a kettle, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, a washcloth, a clothes dryer, and hangers. The air conditioning kept the room cool. There were two kitchen towels, two hand towels in the bathroom, and so on. We also had virtually no one to share between two floors (probably one for every four rooms) and it was quiet. The apartments have house rules, cleaning regulations, and quiet rules. We recommend visiting the "Pod Zvon" restaurant on the promenade and the "Beach Jadra" beach in Old Novalja. A good beach, "Babe Beach," is a 10-15-minute walk away, with free parking, and the center of Novalja is also within walking distance.

We stayed for a week with our teenage son and were pleasantly surprised by how much space we had. The apartment wasn't luxurious, but it felt comfortable and practical for everyday living. We spent most evenings walking into town for ice cream and dinner, which was one of the reasons we chose this location. One thing we noticed was that the kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils, especially if you're planning to prepare meals regularly. It wasn't a major issue, but we ended up eating out more often than planned. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

I booked Double L House with two friends during our summer trip to Pag. What we appreciated most was having our own parking space and not needing to search for a spot every evening. The apartment was bright and had plenty of natural light, which made it feel welcoming from the start. The only drawback for us was that the balcony was a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, so all three of us couldn't comfortably sit outside at the same time. Other than that, it was a good base for exploring Novalja and the surrounding beaches.

We stayed at Double L House for six nights and, while the apartment was generally clean and in a decent location, the experience didn't fully meet our expectations. The photos made the place look more modern and spacious than it actually felt. Some of the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear, and the overall apartment lacked the cozy atmosphere we were hoping for. Another issue was that the walls seemed quite thin, so we could occasionally hear noise from neighboring guests, especially in the evenings. It wasn't unbearable, but it did affect our ability to fully relax after long days at the beach. The apartment served its purpose as a place to sleep, but considering the price we paid during peak season, we expected a bit more comfort and attention to detail.
