Beautiful hiking trail

Novalja, located on the Island of Pag is mostly famous as a party destination because of Zrce Beach, but when visiting Novalja, you can enjoy many things the Island of Pag has to offer.🏝️

Island Pag is famous for its beautiful landscape and, because of that, is usually compared with planet Mars. 
If you are up for adventure and want to see and experience something special you can experience the harsh and bare nature of the island of Pag while hiking through the „Life on Mars“ trail.
One of the most special trails in Croatia will leave you breathless and you will have the feeling that you are not on Earth.
The trail starts from the small village of Metajna and is 16 kilometers long. Through the trail, you will have special views of the bare nature of the Island of Pag, mountain Velebit, and the Adriatic Sea. 🌊⛰️

While hiking through the trail, you will see one of the most beautiful beaches such as Ručica, Beriknica, Slana, and Seline Beach, which are not just famous in Croatia but have been on numerous lists of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The „Life on Mars“ trail is also extended by via Ferrata which is around 100m long and connects Slana Bay on one side and Cape Sušac on the other side. The Ferrata is 1-2 meters above sea level and is rated as difficult so you should have adequate equipment if you decide to climb it. 🧗🏻‍♂️
