Villa Flavia and Alba - Private Heated Pool

We stayed here as a group of friends and ended up spending way more time at the villa than we expected. The heated pool was easily the highlight — warm enough to actually use in the evenings, and the whole outdoor area felt private and separated from everything around it. The outdoor kitchen and BBQ turned into our routine almost every night. Inside, the house felt larger than the photos suggest and having three bathrooms made a huge difference with a bigger group. We also appreciated that the kitchen was properly equipped and didn’t feel like a typical holiday rental setup. It felt calm and secluded but still close enough to drive into Novalja whenever we wanted.

We came here as a couple of families and what stood out immediately was how private the whole place feels — you don’t really see or hear much from outside, which made the stay very relaxed from the start. The villa is well laid out, so even with a larger group you don’t feel on top of each other, especially with multiple bathrooms and separate sleeping areas. We used the heated pool every day, even when the weather was a bit cooler, and the outdoor BBQ area basically became our main “kitchen” for the week. The house itself is modern, clean and actually matches the photos, which we appreciated. If I had to mention a small downside, it’s the location in the sense that you definitely need a car for everything — there’s nothing really within immediate walking distance except the beach, and even that is a bit of a walk. But once you know that in advance, it’s not really an issue, just part of the setup. Overall, it felt like a very easy place to stay in, especially for groups who want their own space and don’t plan to be in town all the time.
